Childcare Training

is committed to supporting individuals working
in community based childcare to access a range
of different levels of childcare training. |

To support individuals returning to formal training,
we provide several different levels of accredited
childcare training. We are a recognised FETAC centre
and the training courses we provide are:
 Foundation Level, suited to individuals
coming back into training after a long time or early
school leavers.
Level 1, a progression from the Foundation,
which goes into the same subjects as foundation
level but in more detail.
Level 2, a PLC course with 8 modules generally
done over 2 years.
The courses are arranged to suit participants needs
and generally take place either one night a week
or one morning a week. The classes are run by trained,
qualified staff committed to the principles of adult
education and encourage learning through a range
of participative methods and group interaction.
